By phone, fax, mail or Internet, Visa, Master Card, Discover and AMEX cards are accepted.
Orders placed with Money Orders or Bank Checks will be shipped upon receipt.
Orders placed with Personal or Company Checks will be held for ten working
days after the receipt of the check. For faster service, especially by phone,
please order models by the Stock #. Connecticut residents please add 6% Sales Tax.

Shipping Charges
|

Books are shipped at actual shipping cost plus insurance.
Domestic Shipping
UPS Ground service is our primary means of shipping. UPS: Next Day, Second Day,
etc are also available at added cost. All packages are insured for their full value.
We will use other carriers upon customer request or when the need arises. USPS will
now insure Domestic shipments up to $5,000 when using Express Mail. USPS shipping
charges are determined by the weight and size of package and will be charged accordingly.

Foreign Shipping
UPS, our primary carrier, is strongly recommended, as they will always insure a
package for the full value. Upon request, we will use the United States Postal
Service, either Air Parcel Post or Express Mail, the maximum insurance coverage
allowed varies for each Country. If a customer requests shipment by USPS, we ask
that the package is insured for the full amount. The Hobby Gallery will not be
responsible for loss or damage over an insured amount. Foreign customers are asked
to enclose instructions for shipping and Customs Declarations. Please understand
that Customs and Duty are your responsibility. Shipping charges are determined by
the carrier you choose, the weight and size of the package, and will be charged
accordingly. The Hobby Gallery will not be responsible for loss or damage over
the insured amount.

Consignment Policy
|
|
The Hobby Gallery Consignment Fee is 20% of the Selling Price. The Hobby
Gallery will only Consign those models that are: A.) In Good Condition.
B.) Fairly Priced According to Current Market Value. C.) Left For Sale For
At Least 90 Days. All models consigned at The Hobby Gallery are thoroughly
examined and serviced by our staff. All minor problems are handled at that
time. In the event of major problems, the Consignor will be notified prior
to any work done. The cost of the repair will be the owner's responsibility.

The Hobby Gallery Buying Policy
|
|
The Hobby Gallery is interested in purchasing collections. We will buy
entire collections (including PLASTIC, DIE-CAST, BOOKS, and RAILROADIANA).
Call The Hobby Gallery with details pertaining to the items you have for sale, or
in the case of larger collections send a list by fax, email or snail mail.
